Accommodation project for young people with a focus on mental health support.
Counselling offers you the chance to talk to a counsellor one-to-one, in confidence and in a safe environment.
They will listen in a non-judgemental way. They will not tell you what to do, but will help you to explore the options open to you.
Your sessions with a counsellor will be once a week for 50 minutes. Initially you will come in for a free assessment and then you will be offered between 12-24 sessions.

Chronic pain can lead to mental health problems. The Camden Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service integrates a full range of MSK services available throughout Camden, including provisions for your MSK assessment, diagnosis, treatment, advice, education and care planning, as close to your home as is appropriate, based on clinical need. Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) is a set of informal self-help groups made up of men and women with a common interest in working through the problems that co-dependency has caused in their lives. The Highgate Day Centre is a recovery-focused centre for Camden residents with mental health conditions which provides therapeutic and educational workshops and activities. We currently run a programme of group work in conjunction with 1:1 key-work sessions to help our clients to identify and pursue their recovery goals. The centre itself offers a wide variety of activities including yoga, well-being workshops, photography, and gardening. Groups are run by trained staff, healthcare professionals or peers.

The over 55s programme is run from the Millman Street Community Centre, which includes performance, arts and crafts, and excercise.
Home-Start Camden (HSC) offers free, confidential support, friendship and practical help to parents of children under five in the London Borough of Camden who are going through a difficult time. Once a family has been referred to Home-Start Camden they will be visited by a Home-Start Camden coordinator who will assess the needs of the family. The family will be carefully matched with a trained volunteer with parenting experience who can provide emotional and practical support to the family for 3-4 hours a week.

The Centre provides psychotherapy, counselling and associated treatments to refugees and asylum seekers in their own language. The Centre endeavours to help people to deal with and overcome psychological problems in a creative, supportive and caring environment in which they can better understand their feelings and experiences. Through this support they are able to feel more content about themselves. We offer individual, couple, family and group therapy, as well as child and adolescent psychotherapy, based on an assessment of need.

The Central London branch provides emotional support round the clock for anyone experiencing feelings of distress, despair or who is in crisis. Samaritans provides a safe space. As volunteers we’re ordinary people, and keep all our conversations private.
Visitors are welcome 365 days a year. You don't need an appointment and the service is completely free of charge. Our branch is wheel chair accessible.
SANE provides care and emotional support to people with mental health problems, their families and carers. SANE provides support in a number of ways including a daily helpline service (SANEline), a free text-based support service (TextCare) and an online supportive forum where anyone can share their experiences of mental health. Spiral is a holistic therapy centre offering counselling, psychotherapy and complementary therapy.
Low cost therapy sessions for those on limited incomes are available mostly during the day Monday to Friday.

This peer support group began in April 2019 and is unique in London for being the only NHS-supported peer support group expressly for people who frame their difficulties in terms of spirituality. Group members encourage each other to improve or maintain their wellbeing by creating a monthly safe space where they can come together to get to know each other and share their stories and any spiritual, religious and cultural perspectives.
St Marylebone HCC offers a number of professional psychotherapy modalities for individuals and groups. We also have a fortnightly drop-in mental health support group.

Swiss Cottage Community Centre provides facilities for recreation and leisure-time activities with the aim of maintaining and improving the conditions of life for the residents of Swiss Cottage. There are activities and support for the over 60s including a social club and exercise, a dedicated play area for under 5's, language classes including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), a range of holistic therapies, room hire, and a community cafe with outdoor terrace.
Based in Swiss Cottage, Overeaters Anonymous South and East England is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. Everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively is welcome to join this group.

We are a charity running choirs for people experiencing homelessness, mental health issues and other challenges such as recovery or discrimination. In London, we run a weekly choir in Kentish Town.
The Manna is the outreach ministry of St Stephen's, Canonbury. We offer a drop-in for homeless and marginalised people, offering friendship, advice and support. Evening meals are offered on a Tuesday and lunch on a Wednesday. We have an alcohol worker and connections to the Islington Outreach team. We have a clothes store, showers, a washing machine and tumble drier (£1 per wash). Activities include gardening, cooking classes, women's group, art, choir, table tennis, pool and poetry group.
The Minded Clinic provides yoga therapy and mindfulness sessions and courses. Their staff are all trained by the Minded Yoga Therapy program and have worked with the NHS, mental health organisations, social work and voluntary services.

TOP UK runs a network of self-help therapy groups for people living with phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and other related anxiety disorders. Our groups use a type of behaviour therapy which is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles and the work of Professor IM Marks. In many cases there is a long waiting list for therapy on the NHS but you should be able to access a TOP group immediately.
United Response provides a range of support services for adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or physical disabilities. This includes person-centred support, help with job seeking, living independently, getting out and undertaking social activities, holidaying and keeping in touch with family. The Wellbeing Club is aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at Chinese Elders who wish to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Through our programme of fun and informative activities, talks and exercise classes, we wish to give attendees the awareness, knowledge and means to improve their own health and so prevent more acute problems from arising later in life. Our drop in centre provides immediate services to alleviate the hardships experienced by those sleeping rough. We offer hot breakfasts, showers, laundry, clothing store, haircuts, luggage storage and mail collection as well as access to health workers.

A specialist speech and language therapy team from Whittington Health NHS Trust offers direct help and support to adults with mental health problems who are experiencing communication and/or eating and swallowing difficulties both as in-patients and for people living in the community who are receiving services from Camden and Islington Mental Health Trust.
