Core Arts has 28 years' experience of providing best practice and best value in Mental Health Creative Day Care in London.
Based in Hackney, Core Arts promotes positive mental health and wellbeing through creative learning. We provide quality education, training, employment and social enterprise initiatives that enable people who experience mental health issues to overcome barriers, fulfil their potential and participate fully in their community.
We offer 85 creative education courses per week under 5 departments arts, music, multi media, sports, horticulture
We also have an events program of over 40 events per year held at our 300 capacity community hall - from Music Gigs, Art exhibitions, educational talks and conferences. In addition we offer external opportunities to showcase our members' works in cultural venues across london and educational trips .
Who should use this service?
Core Arts is open all year for referrals for over 18’s experiencing and managing mental health issues who have personal budgets.
What is the referral process for this service?
Referral from a care coordinator, social worker, consultant from NHS psychiatric or mental health team.
