What do we offer?
Get fit at the same time as doing good deeds. GoodGym has a number of ways to take part:
- You can run or walk once a week to visit an isolated older person for a quick neighbourly visit. Visiting an older person as part of your weekly exercise can make a huge difference to their life and help motivate and inspire you to get outside for a run or walk. The visits will benefit both you and the older person. Over a million older people are always or often lonely, going for months without seeing friends or family. You could make a massive difference to their life by dropping in for 20 minutes as part of your run. - www.goodgym.org/areas/camden/coach-run
- You can run or walk to help older people with practical one off tasks in their homes. Sign up to help with tasks such as changing light bulbs or some light gardening. You'll meet 1-2 other GoodGym members at the older persons home to help with things that will keep them safe and independent in their living space - www.goodgym.org/areas/camden/mission-runs
- Run or walk in a group with other GoodGym members to support community projects in Camden. The full list can be found here and everyone is welcome. We have walking and running sessions so come along to matter what level of fitness you are - https://www.goodgym.org/areas/camden/happenings/group-runs
