What do we offer? 

Imkaan is a UK-based, black feminist organisation dedicated to addressing violence against black and minority ethnic women and girls.

Our work includes:

  • support to women and girls sector through the provision of information, capacity building and peer support
  • advocacy to ensure that policy and practice is reflective of their experiences of violence
  • research, newsletters and publications
  • accredited training and peer education, including specialist sessions on domestic violence, forced marriage and ‘honour-based’ violence.

The website includes useful telephone numbers of other organisations that support women.
