South London
What do we offer?

We are a charity and community centre in Camden, London, with a long history of supporting people across the community.

We work with people from all backgrounds and circumstances to support wellbeing, community, and independent living. We build relationships with people based on who they are, not the labels they have, and do this through any of our services:

Community Spaces
We run activities and events, which aim to support individual and community wellbeing. These take place both within our Camden Hub and out in the local community area. Activities range from Community Cafe, our walking group (Walky Talky), Creative Colouring and more.

Likewise 6-8 Session service
This short-term prevention service is accessible to anyone over 18, living in Camden and needing mental health support. It is available regardless of eligibility for adult social care services and/or previous contact with mental health services.

After an initial assessment, you will work closely with a member of our staff to identify the type of support that works for you. Over a maximum of 8 sessions, we will help you explore the services and activities within the Likewise Hub or throughout the borough which might be best suited to support you.

Creative Therapies
We work with trainee art, drama, and dance movement therapists to offer free, short-term, creative therapy. Sometimes it can be hard to put our experiences into words – through creative therapy, we hope to offer people the chance to explore what’s going on for them, in a way that works for them. This is a short-term service, either done one-to-one or in a group and runs for 10-12 sessions.

Likewise Floating Support
Ongoing, long term paid-for service, sessions are £20 p/h. Our one-to-one support staff and volunteers can meet in your home, or in a community setting such as a café, library or park. We have the flexibility to meet you anywhere upwards of 2 hours per week.

You will be supported through our Pod structure, made up of a Pod Leaders and a team of volunteers. You’ll have one member of staff as your key contact and receive weekly support from our volunteers. You’ll be able to build long-term relationships with several people who will get to know you, discuss what support you’re looking for, and work with you to get this up and running.
