Mental Health Awareness Week: Loneliness

Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation

Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event when there is an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. The Mental Health Foundation started the event 21 years ago. Each year the Foundation continues to set the theme, organise and host the week. The event has grown to become one of the biggest awareness weeks across the UK and globally.

Why loneliness?

History Wellbeing Walk, three sessions in person

Have you ever wondered how your urban environment interacts with your mental health?

This three-session face-to-face course explores how we relate to our local surroundings through an awareness of our local history and environment, and our differing interpretations of the city around us.

We will take a walk through the city, and discuss our impressions, talk about strategies to help us with anxiety and agoraphobia, and we will interpret our experiences in a medium of our choosing.

Healthy Minds, Healthy Bods online quiz

Healthy Minds, Healthy Bods has been running an online quiz every thursday and we would love you to join us.  It's a lot of fun - no intelligence required - it's mainly guessing.

It's about getting people together, having a laugh (normally at the extremely handsome and witty host!!!!), and anyone can win.

The link is below.  The room will open around 7:20pm and the quiz will start around 7:30pm.  It'll be about an hour, but we promise a great time.

Breathing for Wellbeing
