This is a foundation yoga course from Working Men's College suitable for those new to yoga and to those who want to deepen their practice. We will explore alignment and muscle engagement which is practised standing, using mats for floor work or a chair for support. The poses, or asanas, are suitable for everyone. Yoga enhances flexibility and body awareness, reduces stress and improves circulation. It can be practised by anyone wishing to enjoy the benefits of yoga who may (or may not) have restricted mobility.
