This free talk by the Anna Freud Centre will examine how discrimination experienced by both patients and healthcare practitioners may generate inequalities and perpetuate inequities in mental health and mental health services for young people and their families. It will focus on understanding how differential and unfair treatment based on social identities and statuses create barriers between service users, practitioners and mental healthcare systems.
