Introduction to Safeguarding for Trustees

The Charity Commission for England and Wales has recently stated that safeguarding should be a key governance priority for all charity trustees. This session will:

  • Increase understanding, review and manage the safeguarding arrangements in your organisation.
  • Ensure your charity is meeting its legal 'safeguarding duty of care'.

Safeguarding Advanced: Developing knowledge and understanding

This session is for people who work frequently with children and their families, it is essential that your organisation has up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child protection procedures.

This is an advanced course and is designed to develop an existing understanding of the safeguarding process through a variety of written text, case studies and interactive exercises.

Suitable for anyone who has attended safeguarding training previously and would like to update their knowledge and skills further, including volunteers and workers of all levels. 

Frazzled Cafe Meetings

Frazzled Cafe aims to provide a safe, anonymous and non-judgemental environment where people who are feeling frazzled can meet on a regular basis to talk and share their personal stories. Please book your place here

Monthly Health Walks

West Euston Partnership hosts its monthly Health Walks in Regent's Park. These walks aim to get participants to get fitter, meet lovely people, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat. The walk will take about 80 minutes and there's no booking required. 

Meeting Point: at 9.45am at West Euston Partnership, One Stop Shop, 29-31 Hampstead Road, London NW1 3JA (next door to Sainsbury’s).

Food Growing

Oasis Green Gym hosts a Food Growing, where volunteers improve their local environment and their physical fitness. 

Meeting point is in the Oasis Garden which is located by the pool, within the Oasis Sports Centre, 32 Endell St, Holborn (WC2H 9AG).
