Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STPs) set out the vision for planning and delivering care across England. North Central London, a partnership covering the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, has published the latest version of its STP. Pages 31-36 set out the partnership's plans for delivering future mental health services, which look to more community-based care in order to reduce demand on the acute sector (e.g. hospital care) and mitigate the need for additional mental health hospital beds.
