Dissociation and Dissociative identity disorder - DID: The Fundamentals

Dissociation is a normal response to trauma, and this one-day course will cover a range of issues fundamental to understanding this phenomenon and how it presents in trauma survivors’ lives.

The course is suitable for a variety of professionals working in this field, along with survivors themselves and will include such items as what is dissociation? why does it occur and how does it manifest? When does it lead to a dissociative disorder and how do you support someone who suffers from trauma-related dissociation?
