This year has brought grief, loss and uncertainty to many across Camden. Our virtual Light and Hope memorial brings us together to reflect, remember and honour those who have lost their lives.
The site welcomes contributions from all faiths and none, so that we can learn and understand how others cope with their loss and grief. We would very much appreciate it if you would take the opportunity to share your tributes, memories and reflections. We hope this provides comfort for those who have experienced loss, or those still dealing with the effects of the virus.
Whilst we recognise the incredibly difficult year this has been, we also want to pay tribute to the incredible acts of kindness and generosity we have seen during the pandemic. Camden has come together to show true community spirit and we’d like to say thank you.
As we are unable to meet physically, our hope for this site is that people will be able to come together in a safe way. The memorial book will remain open into the New Year and for as long as required, and we are also planning an outdoor event to be held in 2021 once social distancing restrictions are eased.
