Suicide and COVID-19 Survey

4 June 2020
The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) is urgently developing a strategic response to the COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with its global mission to reduce suicide and self-harm. In light of the unprecedented severity of this public health emergency, IASP has brought together a small team of international experts in order to support the work of the organisation.

One of its key tasks is to identify, collate and disseminate key information derived from several sources, including its own membership, external stakeholders and, wherever possible, governments.  Please contribute to this endeavour by completing, as much of the short questionnaire below, as possible.  Your responses will help us to assess the suicide-related threats arising from the pandemic and to develop policies and guidelines that support mental health and reduce the risk of suicidal behaviour in these and future health-related emergencies.

We remain at your disposal for any questions for clarification that may arise.  We would be grateful if you could return the survey as a matter of priority.
Thank you for your invaluable contribution to this important survey.
