It’s been a long time coming but FINALLY the award winning Barking Tales do cometh to London. A safe space night where some of the most finest acts on the circuit come and do material / try out new bits that in some way relate to mental health. More often than not you’ll be watching material that’ll be bespoke to THIS night.
Gosh, what a line-up we’ve got for the first one -
Bobby Mair - 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Russell Howard's Good News and Sweat the Small Stuff. Tour support for Jerry Sadowitz, Doug Stanhope and Bill Burr.
Harriet Kemsley - Winner of ‘Funny's Funny’, ‘Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year’ and ‘Brighton Comedy Festival New Act of the Year’
Darren Harriott -Best Newcomer Award nominee (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2017). As seen on Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, Hypothetical & Russell Howard's Stand Up Central
MC'd by Harriet Dyer (BBC Live at The Fringe, BBC Radio 4 & Absolute Radio) and Dave Chawner (seen on ITV's Lorraine, BBC Breakfast & Good Morning Britain)
The night’s aimed at making comedy more accessible to people who wouldn't feel comfortable in a regular comedy club. Plus, The show’s completely free to enter with donations at the end, so that people who wouldn't usually be able to afford to see comedy can come.
Doors open at 6:15pm. For more information and booking click here.
