Good mental health at work

7 September 2017

The theme of 2018's Mental Health Awareness Week is stress, and how to reduce it. Maybe you need a helping hand managing your mental health at work – or perhaps it is your job to take care of staff? Read on for details of organisations who can help - some of them local to Camden.

Mind, the national mental health charity, has published How to be mentally healthy at work, with practical suggestions for what you can do and where you can go for support. And from Legal & General's Not a Red Card campaign, Addressing Your Own Mental Wellbeing has tips on how to open up about how you are feeling at work.

For employers there’s Rethink's Mental Health in the Workplace Employers' Toolkit; Mind's Taking care of your staff and its guide to Mentally Healthy Workplaces; and Help your Team from Legal & General.

How about some mental health 'first aid'? If you live, work, study or volunteer in either the borough of Camden or Islington, free training courses are available, also from Rethink.

Maybe you are in work but are living with a mental health problem?
