'Camden Connectors' seeks volunteers to help combat isolation in the borough

13 March 2017

If you enjoy working with older people, have a warm and caring nature and want to make a difference, Camden Community Connectors would like to hear from you.

The organisation, which is part of the Ageing Better in Camden Programme, is recruiting volunteers to work with older people so that they can connect with community activities and services that interest them.

Volunteers will be paired with an older person who is experiencing loneliness and isolation, and who would benefit from support.

Ideally, volunteers will be free to make a regular commitment for six months.

Here, Camden-based volunteer Pei Li describes her experiences of volunteering.
