Introduction to dance and movement for health and wellbeing, four sessions in person

This exciting collaborative project launched in Autumn term 2021 and continues in 2022. This is a four-week evening course.
 
The course is practical and experiential and is for anyone who wants to explore creating health and wellbeing through movement and/or dance, be more creative and express themselves.
 
It will offer opportunities to practise dance/movement for mental health and physical well-being through simple exercises and practices in ways that support the level of each student.
 
We hope attending this course will help you
  • Understand that our bodies are designed for movement, greater health and well-being;
  • Explore the gift dance/movement offers through a variety of gentle exercises & practices;
  • Explore how dance and movement can be used for self-care and self-regulation
