Building your assertiveness toolbox

Assertiveness is the quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive. It is a way of communicating your rights and needs in a balanced and respectful manner while also considering the rights of others.
 
Some people are naturally more assertive than others, but we can all learn to develop our assertiveness skills and become more confident in expressing our needs.
 
In this course we will explore assertiveness within a safe environment through exercises, scenarios, reflection & discussion so that you may acquire some key assertiveness tools to continue to practise and apply in your life.
 
We hope to enable you to increase your confidence in using assertiveness skills both in your personal and professional life and relationships.
