On Friday 10 September at 2pm, Bipolar UK is hosting a free webinar on suicide prevention and bipolar disorder. The theme for this year's World Suicide Prevention Day is "Creating Hope through Action."
Someone with bipolar has a suicide risk that’s at least 20 times greater than someone without bipolar. During this webinar we will discuss what the data tells us about bipolar and suicide, and you will learn practical tips for managing suicidal thinking or supporting a loved-one.
We will explain what we are doing as a charity to help prevent suicide, and we ask the important question: what more can we do? Speakers will include a leading academic in the field of suicide research and those with lived experience of bipolar disorder. The event will be hosted by Gordon McInally, President Nominee Designate, Rotary International.
