The Inside Out of: Masculinity, Identity & Mental Health - A session for Black Men

Research tells us that Black men are far more likely than others to be diagnosed with severe mental health problems and are also far more likely to be sectioned under the Mental Health Act. However, up until 11 years old, Black boys don't have poorer mental health than others of their age (NHS Digital, 2021).

Following from Inside Out Well-being's monthly Black men's focus group, we have created this space to explore Masculinity, Identity & Mental Health for Black men in a purposeful way.

For this session we are supporting our community of Black men through a journey of self-discovery and to explore psychology-based life skills to help Black Men thrive.
