Racial trauma is the cumulative effects of racism on an individual’s mental and physical health (Carter and Forsyth, 2009). It has been linked to anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Recent events have resurfaced experiences of racial trauma for many people within the Black Community, so we are creating a safe space for those who have been affected.
