Cocoon are delighted to be working with Creative Future, London Rhymes and Family Support to deliver a new singing and songwriting group for expectant and new mums in West London.  No music or singing experience is necessary, just willing and enthusiasm.

 

Our lead musician, Rosie, has long standing experience working with new parents and has been running groups like this for a number of years.

 

Breathe Arts Health Research has undertaken studies that show that singing and songwriting helps new mothers with postnatal depression (PND), or those at risk of it, combat their symptoms by singing songs specially chosen to improve confidence and help them bond with their babies.
