IPS: A Pioneering Method for One-to-one Peer Support

Introducing Intentional Peer Support - free training in a pioneering new method

Intentional Peer Support (IPS) was developed by Shery Mead in the 1970s after her own experiences as a psychiatric patient.  IPS is now practised world-wide, including in the mainstream mental health services in the USA.

It shares some features with Talk for Health, but is a one-to-one method.  In this Talk for Health special event, our Founder, Nicky Forsythe, will teach you some key ideas and practices from IPS, with the opportunity to put them into practice.

Training is FREE and the spaces limited so sign up soon!

Thursday 12th September from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
