Health Points Event

Are you a trainer, youth worker, support/key worker or adviser working with young disadvantaged adults in either formal or non-formal learning?

Health Points is a “game-based approach to health promotion” for disadvantaged adults, aged 18-29 years. The aim of the project is to support learners to improve their Health literacy and wellbeing so that they can avoid developing serious health issues in later life, related to lifestyle, e.g. cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.

A consortium of European partners has been developing the 5 Module approach, which is designed to complement your existing provision by equipping trainers and educators with an innovative tool to promote awareness and provide information on health-related topics to young disadvantaged adults.

The aim of the session is to tell you more about the project and to encourage a small test group of trainers to sign up to the next steps.

For more information visit the project website and register your place with Eventbrite, please state any relevant dietary or allergy information. Contact Alexandra Walker a.walker@rinova.co.uk to answer any further questions.
