This workshop provides an opportunity for those already engaged in supporting young refugees and asylum seekers (in Immigration Removal Centres - 'IRCs' - and the community) to gain a greater understanding of voice-hearing in young refugees and asylum seekers; explore different ways of understanding voicehearing (including psychological, spiritual & medical perspectives); explore links between voices, visions, difficult feelings, trauma and life experiences; explore the impact of voice-hearing on young people; and learn about a 'toolbox' of practical coping strategies to manage difficult experiences.
