The Help Hub has been set up to support individuals who find themselves with limited contact due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus. We are a group of people who believe that it's important to bring our community together during a crisis like this and ensure the more vulnerable members of our community feel that they have help where needed and support in what is an anxious time for all of us. We aim to provide a free service for as many people as possible by listening, supporting and helping where we can. To find out more or to book and appointment please click here.

Mental Health UK have launched Clic, a new online support community that anyone in the UK can access 24/7for free mental health support. It includes an online forum where you can chat about how you’re feeling and connect with others, as well as accessing mental health information tools, tips and resources. To ensure everyone's safety and security the site ismoderated 24 hours a day. You can find out more or register here.

Rethink Mental Illness have launched the NCL Suicide Prevention and Bereavement Support Service for people aged 18+, who live, work or study in the 5 North Central London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Haringey, Islington and Enfield. The helpline is open to people who are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts, or have experienced suicidal feelings in the past,  their family, friends or carers. They also support people who are affected by bereavement by suicide e.g. families and friends but also to those who have been exposed to suicide e.g. neighbours, schools, colleges, social groups and healthcare professionals. Talk For Health are running a free programme in Talking for Wellbeing. It’s important to take care of our emotional wellbeing, just as it is to take care of our bodies. One way of doing this is to connect in a truthful and empathic way with others. You can find out more here.

London Friend are running a free online LGBT Lockdown Remedy Support Group. The group offers a safe and confidential space to share your experiences of isolation, with a focus on general wellbeing and mental health. The group also offers the opportunity to share experiences with your peers who are experiencing similar feelings. You can find more information and how to apply here.

The Sanctuary is an online group created specifically by Beat in response to the Coronavirus & subsequent social distancing & anxieties this could lead to for people with an eating disorder. A safe space for people with an eating disorder to share concerns and advice on how they are coping with the pandemic. Eating disorders thrive in isolation, so it is important to stay connected and support each other through this. You can find out more here.
 

Kooth provides free, online counselling and mental health and wellbeing support for young people aged between 11-25yrs. On Kooth.com, young people can speak to a counsellor until 10pm every day of the year, can access numerous self-help resources and share their experiences, creatively,  through articles and forums. On Kooth we have seen a 170% increase in discussions around sadness since lockdown began. As frontline health, care, emergency and key workers, you put yourself at physical risk as you form our frontline against the coronavirus. You are also putting your mental health under pressure. Our Frontline wants to help make sure you get the right support with your mental health, both now and in the future. Our Frontline offers round-the-clock one-to-one support, by call or text, from trained volunteers, plus resources, tips and ideas to look after your mental health.
